Imagine if this was a picture of Palestinian Kids...

Right... now if this was a picture of Palestinian Kids, I wouldn't be getting it in some arb email sent to a few interested users. This pic would be blasted in Newspapers under headlines screaming "TERRORIST KIDS", "BOOTCAMP FOR ALQAEDA", etc.

Can you imagine what mindset the kids in the photograph are gonna grow up with? I doubt it's gonna be "Let's live in peace and harmony with everyone." It'll be more like "Let's shoot and kill those Mofo's."

It's a sad state of affairs for the world when kids are exposed to such weapons to further the aims of the blinded and power-hungry.

That was NOT in mainstream news, btw. But hey! Don't let me rain on your pity-party here. It seems playing the victim is entirely objective to your mind?

You are so right! the kid holding a "toy" gun in front of his mom and her friends is sooo like the bunch of guys teaching kids to shoot real guns...

The resemblance is uncanny. OMG!

My bad, I forgot that you refuse to acknowledge any sort of objectivity unless you get spoon-fed facts. Here's some pictures of a smattering of the child-suicide bombers that never get reported on (unless by Jihadist youtube-o-vision):

I know you're a brainwashed pro-Palestine sycophant, but you really cannot possibly begin to equate an Israeli Defense day with your side's training up of kiddies to blow themselves to bits in the hopes they might kill some zionist civilians.

Or can you? I'm starting to question whether the real truth of the matter really makes a difference with you...

I guess it will boiul down to . all Israeli Kids being taught ot use guns this way (which I'm sure is a generalisation).

The picutres you showed me in your last comment, I've seen them before. We were having a lecture a while back warning us what to stay away from. Extremist literature are full of this shit and unfortunately all of hte Palestinians are painted with the same brush.

Extremists of all kinds are fucking up our world. I'm sure if I do a Google Search right now, I'll come up with Jewish extremists teaching their kids stuff worse than the picture I put up, also christian extremists, and ofcourse, Muslim Extemists.

Back to the picture, what gets to me is that there isn't any element of extremism in the picture showing the Jewish kids being taught to use guns... like it's normal...

The pictures you showed me are of kids and no doubt, they are extreme and influenced by the extremism of their parents. The picture of the Jewish kids looks like they were attending a picnic with their family and guns are freely available for them to learn to use.

Make no mistake about the use of the weapon... it's only purpose is destruction... and in the picture it seems to me to be a normal part of Israeli education...destruction.

particularly destruction of Palestinians lives and the theft their land...using guns, planes, bombs, etc.

Or maybe it's that motivation for teaching your kids how to use firearms stems from the very real and present danger from all of Israel's neighbours?

I realise you love to paint with broad strokes, but this really isn't anything new. Farm kids throughout SA have learnt how to use guns as young as possible (the youngest ones learn to load for the elders) because they are often subject to murderers, thieves and rapists.

Israel is surrounded, and has always been surrounded, by nations that want to destroy it, and have even said as much openly (ie, Iran) There are Palestinian nutjobs who will plow bulldozers into innocent civilians in a misguided show of defiance. Those folks in the bulldozers? They were often put down by armed civilians. Theirs is a life in which learning to use weapons is as normal as breathing.

Strapping your five year old with explosives and teaching them the glories of Martyrdom, however, is an entirely different kettle of fish. One is defense-oriented, and thus absent of hate (thus their 'calm' non-extremist demeanours as you rightly note), and the other is a hate-filled quest for vengeance in a political climate that really shouldn't call for more hate.

right... you seem to have missed the basic premise of the last comment i.e. extremism vs. normal people.

Look at the picture... the kids are using freakin Uzi's. Whether they're in Israel or farmlands in SA doesn't matter. Teaching kids to use guns is wrong and the "normal" context doesn't make it right.

The "Extremists" who strap their kids with explosives are wrong too, but it's under the broad horrible tent of extremism.

Predicating gun use under the pretext of normality is an abberation.
